Gastroenterology and Endoscopy
Itty qualified in New Zealand in 1998 and worked for a year in Invercargill SHDB before becoming a Fellow and working in Perth, Australia for a year. On his return to NZ he started work for North Shore Hospital (WDHB) in 2012. He is involved in the bowel screening programme and his interests include:
- endoscopic gastroenterology
- Colitis
- IBD particularly Crones Disease.
Itty also educates medical students and oversees clinical training for training Fellows.
Itty is married with 2 adult children. He recently participated in the World Master Games in Auckland playing badminton.
